Congrats to the 6th Guelph
They spent the 25th at Price Chopper at Stevenson and Speedvale with an info table, with some excellent results. 5 potential new members and 1 leader. And lots of stories. Hey folks, it does work. Get out there; we’re a very safe organisation to have in the store and it’s not difficult to ask the store manager.
Hey I’m behind…
… but I know that. Been a busy fall. I was 4 weeks behind when I started this evening, that’s down to 1 week. Had the same problem last year, fall is just too busy. Sorry about that! I’ll try to get the past 10 day worth of activity posted tomorrow! Keep on SCOUTING!

See your pictures & activities published!
Hey folks. As we work more closely with the Guelph Mercury, be aware that they are now publishing a new non-subscription paper called Etcetera (replacing their old Save & Sell). Shawn & I met with them on the 17th, and they explained a great new opportunity to increase public awareness of Scouting. Specifically, they will accept pictures of local events and activities. So, whether you have that really cute Beaver at Apple Day photo, or a not so great one of some leader getting a pie in the face (and you have the photo permission form), send it to khopwod@guelphmercury.com . They continue to actively solicit your pictures. As a courtesy, please forward them to myself ( ac@wellington.on.scouts.ca ) and Brian our DAC Media PR (mediapr@wellington.on.scouts.ca). Have fun, and thanks for the setup Shawn!
