H1N1 Pandemic

As you all know the WHO upgraded to a level 6 Pandemic world wide yesterday.  This does NOT mean any immediate changes to our activities.  Health Canada has stated that if there were any issues they would be regional, and the only area with a problem at the moment is a remote reserve in northern Manitoba.  Click -HERE- for the current position statement from Scouts Canada.  Basically, unless sch0ols and public places are shutdown in our geographical area there will be no change.  For us in Wellington, that means Scouting as usual, with normal precautions.  Please don’t call National, if there’s any change here, it will be on every radio station.
